All systems are based entirely on fiber amplifier technology developed in Jena. While some groundbreaking ultrashort-pulse fiber laser systems have been developed in Jena research facilities over the past 20 years, AFS today exceeds this performance in many parameters - always with the goal of transforming laboratory setups into reliable laser systems for scientific and industrial applications. The company has been a member of the TRUMPF Group since 2022, and its headquarters are in Jena.
