The special optical characteristics of the lenses are created by a radial refractive index profile, also known as GRadient INdex. This profile is generated by means of ion exchange processes in special glasses. In this regard, GRINTECH is the only company that uses silver ion exchange. The company's microlenses, with diameters ranging from 200 µm to 2 mm, impress with their flat optical surfaces and excellent optical properties.
